Learning From Others

Creating an ePortfolio had it’s ups and downs. I’m nervous about how others will view the hard work that I’ve put into this assignment. While creating my ePortfolio, I was comforted by the help I received from my classmates and peers. We exchanged our creations with one another and gave positive feedback and suggestions. The advice I received was extremely helpful and pushed me to try something new. In addition to having them critique my work, I was given the opportunity to critique theirs! While looking at my peers’ work, I noticed the many similarities in differences between our ePortfolios. Though we had much of the same basic information, we all had different ideas and reflections of our personalities. After looking at my peer’s ePortfolios it gave me ideas on how to improve my own thoughts and ideas. This truly exemplifies the importance of collaboration. Seeing through someone else’s eyes helps us grow as educators and build on the knowledge that we already have. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such friendly, insightful people!
