Step 3: Implementation

I will meet with department heads and team leaders once a month during PL time (9 times total throughout the 2021-2022 school year) and discuss implementing blended learning into their classrooms

By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, department heads and team leaders will be comfortable with the information and will become “Blended Learning Experts”

Department members will discuss progress or pushbacks at each PL meeting.
June 2022-July 2022

Request FLEX time for PL Sessions in 2022-2023 school year

Requested FLEX will be for all “Blended Learning experts” (department heads and team leaders). Each PL session will be dedicated to planning for full school implementation.
August 2022-May 2023

All teachers/classrooms in the building will implement Blended Learning.

Teachers will participate in 9 PL sessions throughout the school year.

Every other month, all building teachers will meet for a PL session (large group)

Department heads and team leaders will lead these sessions (I will oversee)

In the other months, teachers will meet with their departments (small group)

Department heads will lead these sessions. Team leaders will be available for additional support during this time.

Teachers will be collaborating with their team members throughout the school year so that each student’s team of teachers are consistent with the Blended Learning requirements/expectations

Because each “team” in the middle school has a scheduled team meeting daily, this will provide support for each teacher during the implementation process

Department will dedicate 15 minutes to their monthly department meetings to discussing progress/concerns with the Blended Learning implementation.
